As Manchester United step up discussion over the transfer of Jadon Sancho from Borrusia Dortmund for a fee reportedly in the region of a £100 million, a Nigerian is at the heart of the talks .

Emeka Obasi is the CEO of Elite Sports Management and he manages the affair of the Dortmund star who has reportedly agreed personal terms with the Old Trafford outfit believed to be in the region of £300,000 a week.

A fee is yet to be agreed with Dortmund per several reports with many claiming that they are holding out for a fee of £120 million despite the coronavirus pandemic which has brought about a crash in the market value of football players .

It is believed Obasi holds the ace to the talks between both parties and just like when Atta Aneke transferred Odion Ighalo to Manchester United , the club is relying on Obasi to make it happen.

For all of his popularity very few people have seen the face of Obasi who manages as many as 28 football players with 12 Nigerian players on his stable. This include the Super Eagles quartet of Alex Iwobi, Josh Maja, Joe Aribo and Ola Aina as well as potential Super Eagles in Bukayo Saka, Chuba Akpom, Seyi Ojo, Terem Moffi , Jordan Aina, Folarin Balogun and Tobi Omole.
